Our objectives
The objective of HERizon is to empower women exposed to violence, discrimination or social isolation by providing them with knowledge, practical tools, digital resources and supportive community networks.
-
Inform
Provide women with clear, accessible and multilingual information about their rights, safety strategies and available support services.
-
Train
Develop practical self-defence and safety modules to strengthen women’s confidence, autonomy and ability to respond to risky situations.
-
Connect
Create peer-support networks, mentoring chains and empowerment circles where women can share experiences, receive guidance and build lasting solidarity.
-
Give voice
Use storytelling, audio narratives and creative expression to amplify women’s voices and make their experiences visible.
-
Sustain
Build long-term partnerships and resources so that HERizon tools remain useful beyond the lifetime of the project.
HERizon has five objectives :
- - to inform women about their rights and safety
- - to train them in self-defence strategies
- - to create peer support networks
- - to encourage women to speak out through storytelling and creative expression
- - to embed the project’s resources within sustainable partnerships.
These objectives align with the project’s overall goals: equipping women with knowledge and skills, creating accessible digital resources, establishing peer networks, raising public awareness, and developing sustainable partnerships.
