HERizon outcomes

HERizon aims to generate concrete changes in the lives of women, in local communities and within organisations supporting women’s rights and safety.

  • Increased confidence

Women feel more confident in identifying risks, understanding their rights and making informed choices for their safety.

  • Better access to resources

Participants can access multilingual digital tools, practical guides, self-defence modules and support pathways.

  • Stronger support

Women benefit from mentoring chains and empowerment circles that reduce isolation and encourage solidarity.

  • Greater public awareness

Communities, educators, NGOs and local stakeholders become more aware of violence against women and of practical ways to prevent it.

  • Sustainable community action

The project creates resources, partnerships and local practices that can continue after the project ends.

The expected outcomes of HERizon are individual, collective and institutional. For the women taking part, the project aims to boost confidence, safety, awareness of rights and the ability to seek help. For communities, it aims to raise awareness, foster solidarity and encourage engagement. For partner organisations, it aims to produce reusable resources, transferable methods and sustainable partnerships.

The proposal specifically anticipates an increase in confidence and skills among 85% of participants, more than 500 women trained, over 500 event attendees and long-term partnerships with more than 15 organisations.
